Because I started out playing a L1 count. Then, studied, played and tweaked unbalanced counts, and felt and recorded the results of both (the latter being a bit stronger).

Then, a few years in, I put my nose to the grindstone and "leveled up" with a stronger count (and am adding more advanced strategies now), and can tell you firsthand: The former is shore fishing off of a jetty in the middle of the night, and the latter is charter fishing with a fish finder. (And, yes I know Jack Nicholson has a priceless line in "As Good as It Gets" about "People who speak in metaphors...", but I couldn't resist. :-)

Hyperbole aside, and put another way: In hindsight, the difference is substantial and very much worth the effort.

ZMF just said CrapJack. Amazing. Let's get that circulated throughout LV on some billboards.

I would like to thank everyone for their feedback. For someone who has just under 250 hours of live casino counting experience, I can relate to most of what was mentioned about Unbalanced counts; the pros and cons of such counts. I have been reflecting lately about "when" would be a good time to do some training since I was only concerned for the longest time about finding ways of getting in the hours at reasonable playing conditions. I think I have found a window of time in my weekly schedule to do so. Thanks again everyone!
