The answer is YES of course !

Bugsy, you'll have to overlook ZenMater_Flash. He has the manners and negative outlook of a badger and likes to bray like a jackass using big words he recently looked up in the dictionary so as to impress people.

It is amazing to me that someone like you can ask a simple question and right off the bat, the same group wants to start attacking them.

I usually play in my home territory and have learned what I can get away with so I do play under that radar unless I am trying something new which I tend to do from time to time. I play 1 to 2 times a week as time allows.

Bodarc's statements are partially correct, as I am a rather abrasive character.

BJ is like religion for some players who need to fervently defend their personal

blackjack skill set, in the face of mathematical objections to same. Some are

humble enough to admit that for their recreational purposes they are satisfied.

A solid sub-population of posters here take advantage of my altruistic tendencies

and as a result I spend considerable time in training them.

The other posters here are generally recreational players

whose skill level varies wildly. I have been a full-time Professional Player

for 23 years. No earned income since 1992, at my advanced age,

I am semi-retired, but still travel about the country quite a bit.

Some posters here have actually comp'd me to travel expenses,

and that I do accept.

As an extremely generous altruistic sort, I actively mentor those

who want to play blackjack with power and accuracy.

And ... I have never "looked up a word in a dictionary

to impress" anyone. I have no need to impress and

some peeps will resent a loquacious sesquipedalian.

Most people do not want to glimpse their inadequacies,

especially when there is a degree of innumeracy / illiteracy

I've been playing for three months. Typically once a week at places within a 2 hour drive. If I play twice, I make sure its different shifts. I think I'm pushing it and looking to expand my menu of stores. I've been Bo'd at two. One with a fantastic game. I believe the first may have put me in OSN, since I sat down at the second and was backed off less than 10 mins later without even having raised my bet. They were the only two stores that I had provided ID. One required membership to access the casino at all, the other to play two hands. In retrospect, I regret playing rated at either.
