Thumbs up Why would anybody count cards?

In todays Casino environment, where the house is paranoid about card counters, why would anyone care to count cards in order to squeeze out a meek 2-3% advantage? Learning to play a perfect "BASIC STRATEGY" is mandatory but beyond that, there are other betting strategies that create larger net wins.

OK, I will bite, would you care to elaborate on your other betting strategies?
Luck is nothing more than probability taken personally!

    Got you hooked!!
All jokes aside, I play a perfect basic, mostly at $10 tables using my 1-3-7-15-30 unit betting sequence, also referred to as "Bet Ranging". Will leave table or skip 3 to 4 rounds temporarily after winning $200 to $250 and resume play for another $200 to $250 win. Losing, I will never bet more than $300 before leaving table.
You can practice that wit any good simulator to convince yourself. If you want a more detailed explanation, give me a call at 970-344-4599.

    Luckyike,

I know you think you have found the Holy Grail but I can assure you that in a game that you lose about 51% of the hands and win about 41% of the hands and tie the other 8% of the hands, that your "Bet Ranging" is the kiss of death. If you really believe in it, PM and we can construct a wager with me to add to your Blackjack earnings.

This should be moved to the disadvantage forum......

    Hello, Stealth
Well, I have been doing it for 16 years successfully. Never get any heat because pit bosses see me as a Martingale ploppie that will loose sooner or later. OK by me!

Do you keep track of your wins, losses and number of hands played?

In most cases, it still takes a lifetime to get a reasonable estimate of your expectation.

You could really boost your method by applying the Golden Ratio. 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34... That is all I am allowed to say.

I would like to hear more about one of these good simulators.
