    Dumb Question #1

I just received and installed CVCX. In putting in the information for the two games I have played most often for the past two years, a DD game with double on 9-11, H 17, No Surrender and penn of about 70% and a 6 deck game, H17, no S but all other standard rules and penn of about 1.2 decks, I find the C score to be far below 50. Even when I play the more liberal DD games in the Midwest where the penn is about 65% , H17, no S but standard rules, the C score at the bottom is under 45. I play the 6 deck with min $10, spreading to 12 and the DD game with $25 min., spreading to 1-7. Bankroll for both is $25k, trip bank roll is $5k.

What are the things you look for in CVCX. How do you use it to determine playable games?

I know its basic questions and I have not yet read the book that comes with the disk but hoping to get some feedback.

SCORE is a game comparison metric described in BJA3. It is computed based on sims and betting ramps which conform to the benchmark conditions described in the book. Under these conditions, SCORE corresponds to your estimated win rate per 100 rounds. It is a property of the benchmark game conditions combined with the benchmark strategy.

c-SCORE is any SCORE which is computed based on conditions which differ from the benchmark. So, for example, if you change the betting ramp, or use different indices in the sim, etc., you should now refer to the result as a c-SCORE (custom SCORE).

I hope I have described this correctly. Don will hopefully correct any misrepresentation.
