What's the most i'm out for a one or two hour conversation? $1,000 to $1,500? Big deal. I've heard of people in my similar situation settle for FAR more than a consultation fee.

Here's my thought: I pay the lawyer's hourly rate just long enough for an evaluation of my situation. The lawyer will say one of two things: "Ryemo, it looks like you have a case here" or "Ryemo, your case doesn't look good". So if he thinks I have a case, I'll move forward. If not, I won't. This seems pretty much like a no-brainer.

And FYI... I have no intentions of going back, nor do I want them to allow me back. But I think the casino crossed a line. They got physical with me, when I believe it wasn't necessary. They forced me in the back againve to lost my will and threatened to haul me off to jail if I didn't comply with their demands. I don't think this is acceptable. I was willing/wanting to leave and they took it to another level.

But i'm not getting my hopes up about anything yet. I don't even know if my case is even worth pursuing. But it's certainly worth looking into.
What you have to lose in the word spreading like wildfire an you end up with no place to play in that area period. Whoops, my bad - you've already done that a few times.

I have a work related trip coming up soon and I have a couple comped nights at one of this chain's properties. I typically would never play where I stay, but it's the only casino in the area and I need to be there for work anyway. My style of play is very aggressive and has consequently lead to BO's/countermeasures even in some of the most tolerant stores. Since I'm staying at this casino's hotel, I plan on using a polite spread vs. my usual style of play.

I'm trying to decide how "polite" to keep my action, which is why I'm looking for opinions. I'd be interested to know if anyone else shares a similar opinion on the observations I've made regarding this particular chain. I have no plans of getting too aggressive, because getting evicted from my room doesn't sound appealing. But I don't want to hold back too much either and leave a bunch of EV on the table. Plus I'd like to keep the comps coming since I might travel out this way in the future for work purposes. Looking for a happy medium. Opinions? Thanks.

With luck, you may have avoided being reported to

    You said ...

Both of those statements are essentially meaningless, and are typical for low stakes chip players.

Had you been a Black chipper, you would have possibly been trespassed and immediately evicted.
Good advice Flash. Obviously, Ryemo is much too smart to follow. Over 100 plus back offs in less than 1500 hours. Shrewd. Very Shrewd.

It's only a suggestion of possible valuable additions. It is not related to any particular count.

When your big bet is out index plays are worth a lot because most are exceeded by a lot. Some, like splitting 4'sv4, gain at an anemic rate after the index is exceeded. It takes almost no effort to memorize more indices. It is the easiest thing you can do to improve your game. It is like stopping at that blind stop sign on a dead intersection that rarely sees traffic. Rarely will it matter that you didn't stop or even slow down but on the rare occasion that semi is barreling down the road you will wish you stopped. Remembering those rare ones can be a bit challenging when they arise since repetition of use is what keeps those indices cemented in memory. In those monster counts sometimes just knowing the index exists is enough to know it is exceeded.

It's the negative indices that reduce bleeding and allow me to play all, but it's those indices in positive counts that rev up the win rate. There are the common ones, and the not so common ones that really help generate EV.
