Aside from his obvious brilliance the fact that he was one of the good guys shines through his writing.

Was counting a bit back in the early 90s...put out of a Vegas casino, and riverboat in Ms....in both instances the pit boss said the identical thing, "You've played enough."....sotto voice without eye contact....I finished the shoe both times...only 25$ bets...but winning of course.

His famous book is about Hi Opt 1. I wonder why he has never published a book about Hi Opt 2. (I know he has published a paper on Hi Opt 2. But even that paper is very hard to find for beginner AP.)
