I just moved to the Tampa area, and was wondering what the community's thoughts are about playing BJ at this casino. I understand the house rules aren't great, so do you recommend any casino cruises nearby with better tables?
Thanks in advance!

Florida is, more or less, void of exploitable blackjack opportunities.
I know the Florida Gulf Coast pretty well.
Others will offer more feedback.

Down here near FTL.
Depending upon the stakes you bet, you might find Tampa's HR tolerable. Good for initial practice at red chip level, but only survivable in HL area with 6D games. IIRC, all non-HL tables are 8D (6D non-HL are csm dealt). Pen is nothing to write home about.
You are a lot closer than I am to the Gulf Coast, and suspect that you might want to take a few trips to your NW, and visit Biloxi, MS; New Orleans, LA; Tunica, MS, etc. Other casinos in other cities in those states with perhaps some decent games (maybe not).
I would recommend that you visit bj21.com, and see about a subscription to their monthly report. It may not be 100% up to date, and some reporting for it might not want to share their best kept secret games, but by and by, its the best information out there on table game conditions, other than word of mouth.

0.7% is absolutely dreadful.
It is hard to find worse.
Aggressive wonging-in is a (virtual) waste of time.
Presuming Mid-Shoe Entry is permitted,
You will need a Hi-Lo +2 before wonging in,
- at that your e.v. is barely worth your time.
Sorry to be the harbinger of bad tidings !

No. . ... Not "more or less" ..... "Fuggedaboudit."
Meanwhile, the games in Mississippi are pretty good, BUT, if you are simply backed off at any casino,
your photos, etc. are automatically flyers to all local casinos. If you bet high or play too long or win
too much you will have burned your bridges. Try to learn not to play (robotically) "by the book". You
will be "profiled" as a potential Card Counter if you are male, Caucasian, and young, especially <35.
