I certainly stand by conservative estimate:

1% of casinos will permit a player to take ANY action on a "split ace"

NOTE that I was saying "taking action" (i.e. double, hit, or surrender)

If there are a few low-stakes reservation games in the U.P. of MI or of

Northern MI I will not be sat all surprised.

I have a RSA table about an hour away (somewhere in the English or partially English speaking world).

    NotEnoughHeat,

I am tired of repeating myself.

    RSA is common enough.

I repeatedly clarified that I was referring to the O.P.'s question about

    TAKING ACTION on the RSA.

My comment was not aimed at you. Apologies if it annoyed you, I can see now how you could take it to be a response to your comment.

I don't find your tone pleasant, but again it's a misunderstanding so I can't hold it against you. I'd probably feel the same.

To my experience, you can resplit aces and if you receive an ace again, you can split that also again up to 3 hands, then they will receive one card each, but they will not probably let you to split to 4 hands with aces.

CBJN points out only 2 casinos with HSA (hit split aces) and one is local to me, it's Ft McDowell. Smokey dive casino a bit far out of Phoenix. The other one is in Wyoming, apparently. Does it give you an edge? Yes, definitely. Being able to split aces and double down two soft hands Vs a 5 was nice. Except he got a 21. I'd rather they offer insurance or S21.
