Casey scolding me for not hitting split aces

    Hi,

I split AA vs T in CVBJ and drew a 5. I stood as I didn't have the option to hit (as I shouldn't) but Casey said "That Should have been a hit". Why is she telling me to do something that wasn't an option?

    Thanks

With women you often don't know your options until you try them.

Banjoclan, you can usually only receive one card each on split aces, so hitting (or doubling) isn't an option.

Yes, that's my point. I couldn't do anything and she still gave me an error for it.

Are you sure you couldn't do anything? Is it possible you have the "Hit split Aces" option enabled in the settings?

    And her name is Cassie.

    But I agree, she's a total c*nt.

Look at all the split settings in Options-Settings.

I'm positive I couldn't because I actually got dealt a five on the other Ace. There were only the double and stand options on the bottom. I also tried swiping up and down with the cursor on the second hand a number of times because I knew she wanted me to hit. I also went to the split settings and it was set for DAS RSA but not for hit split aces. Maybe she was in a foul mood.

    Norm,

Yes "Double after Ace Split" and "Resplit Aces" are checked. "Multiple draws after Ace split" is not checked. I checked it and unchecked it just now to see if that would make a difference but I don't think that's it.

Why is Double after Ace Split checked? It is a very rare rule.

Hmm, not sure why it's checked. I don't think I checked it but maybe I did thinking that it was just DAS. I unchecked it now. Maybe that's what made it trigger her quizzing me on this?
