Seems like important whales to the casino because their host was nearby to tend them every way he can. So I changed table again. I went to low stake table.
One thing anyone should learn if they play at higher stakes tables in a place they often frequent is to make a point to find out "by observation" who are the loyal big players to the joint. Do NOT play with them when you see them playing at a table! No good can come of this, it will only be a matter of time before you piss off the wrong person who carries a lot of influence, who will bad mouth you "possibly in private" to the RIGHT PEOPLE, and you will have two strikes against you before you even realize it. Again do not mess with the big fish.

It's our personalities. While I may try to ignore it, when other people at the table irritate me, whether by ploppy comments on my play or always carping at the dealer when they lose, the irritation makes me not enjoy my time at the table and lately, I leave the table rather than play in a bad mood.

    2. I can have a short conversation. But sometimes people expect a lengthy heart-to-heart conversation. I am just not interested.
    3. 12 v 2 is easy. 13 v 2, 13 v 3, 12 v 4, 12 v 5, 12 v 6 are hard. Most people know it is "wrong" based on their training.
Should clarify - only when the misdirected individual upset with the revised flow of cards and is snitty themselves will get a not so kind response.

Are we supposed to socialize with the tablemates?
I don't socialize with people at the table too much. If anything I have a well choreographed routine in which they will assume that I am quite insane. To the crying woman? I would explain in a calm, smoothing voice that I was sorry but the last time I socialized with a woman at the table, I found out she had a bigger penis than I later in the evening and it traumatized me.

Don't worry about them too much, you have more critical things to think about over and above hurting anyone's feelings.

On that basis, you might enjoy this one.

"There are other players at the table?"

...I get what you're saying though. Sometimes you can get a lot of scrutiny which draws attention to your plays. All you can do is play the hand correctly and then come up with a ploppy excuse. "Oh the last 3-4 cards weren't face cards so I wanted to take the little one from the dealer!" Or, the last 3 times I stood on this the dealer won, I was just trying to change things up! ...etc, etc. If you can't think of a good ploppy excuse, then you haven't been playing long enough =P.

    1) Just tell them that is the way you play and if it bothers them they would be happier playing at another table because you will be doing it all day.
    2) Tell them the next card is not the dealer's card. It is yours until you waive it off.
    3) I can't hear very well so I just keep saying yes and no in conversation. When you answer a question that is not a yes or no question with yes or no they get the idea. I don't go there to socialize anyway. If you like to have fun something the hard of hearing do to have fun is answer the question as if you heard a word(s) wrong. Someone says, "You shouldn't hit that hand". Say, "Of course I don't sh!t on my hand". It is pretty entertaining and people lose interest fast.

It is best to just say you play your hunches.

Or if I knew what the card was going to be in advance I would have played it differently. It is easy to play the hand correctly once you know what the next card was. The game would be easy if I knew what the next card is like you but why do you keep busting when you know the card will bust your hand. That is what I keep wondering. Like you I see you play a ton of hands wrong after the next card is revealed. I keep seeing you stand on this hand and lose so I hit it. You didn't hear me whining about your incorrect play when you keep busting did you? I just tried to learn from it.

I think Flash uses all those big words so nobody will talk to him in the casino.
It is like he is speaking his own language to the average ploppy. Bone up on those 20 letter words. LOL
