I got this breaking news from CNBC late this evening. They said the revenue was down 46% this quarter. Caesar has negative earnings for years now. Since there are no earnings, the revenue number is the only thing that measures the possibility of a turnaround. CNBC did not mention one-time charge at all. Isn't one-time charge adding to the revenue?

I hope Tunica Roadhouse's bankruptcy goes bankrupt. Them and their 6:5 blackjack game.

A "one time charge" (I think) is merely a corporate "tax-dodge".

They only lost 758MM this quarter.

I find irony that a mega-casino's is in RoR trouble. Perhaps, their unabated greed is beginning to come home to roost.

If CEO, I would not like telling my board and stockholders that I am really upbeat about only losing 758MM an IMPROVEMENT from the 980MM loss a year ago.

Nope Zen, as Norm pointed out it is the legal fees and other expenses associated with restructuring ie asset hiding as a "creditor" dodge or "creditor screwing" however you wish to phrase it. It costs a lot to fix a corporate fight these days.

My area sux & is getting worse, I wish more casuals would do a little research before playing. If enough of us boycotted maybe we could see a change.

There is no point whatsoever in posting this without

identifying the area, if not the casino(s).

    Besides, boycotting is implausible. [understatement]
