In discussing moses' SD game I was reminded that if we are

moses is referring to the games common to his home town casinos.
These have a very high House Edge and I wouldn't even play it with
confederate money: since the casinos there, he assures me, cheat ~

Preferential shuffling through the common, layperson's understanding, but probably not in the legal sense. Remember, the casinos own Nevada, and thus, the law. Just saying.

The Nevada Gaming Regulations forbid anything that alters the "randomness" of a game.

If SOME decks are shuffled earlier than others, that, to me, clearly alters the randomness.

Good luck with that argument in a trial court in Nevada (before an elected judge who has to raise campaign contributions)!

Except for two visits to the Reno/Sparks/Lake Tahoe area since the turn of the century,
all of my experience in RENO was in the 1980's, and even then they sweated red action
and cheated in various ways. The very worst BJ venue, I M H O.
