    Even if the player knows the rules for CRAPS, that doesn't mean he necessarily knows the rules for the game being played, since it could (arguably) be mistaken for a craps variant.


    If you're going to do it and you're SMART about it, I'd bet amounts that can be laid on the number. Do something like $300. If anyone threatens you with cheating and you've been exposed, of course you can start off with dealer said I could make the bet....or say you thought you were laying the point.
