Thx, NE/IND was kind of a coin flip, but really didn't get the tone right, Indy played tougher that I thought they would.

2-1 last week, 10-11 for the season.

CAR -3 vs Phi - Don't know what Philly is about, they are probably what their record indicates, a 3-3 team. Carolina is a good team, so this line seems wrong.

4 -1 on the first 5 games and I still like the Cardinals -8.5 tonight.

Can the ZenMeister go 5-1 after going 10-2-1 for an extraordinary (2 week result of) 15-3-1
    ?

Like your pick last week Sharky, but might have to disagree this week.

1-0 last week, 11-11 for the season.

Not a lot of great lines, just a bunch of Meh'ish pics:

OAK +3 vs Jets - Like the Jets this year, should be strong, but cross country travel, w/o a great offense, against a decent Oakland team, this game screams low scoring ugly game. Might as well take the home underdog points.
Min -1 vs CHI - Min is all around more talented team, and always worth taking a shot against Cutler.
Cin PK vs PIT - I know betting against Roeth and playing at Pitt is dangerous, but Cin is the all around more talented team, good D and tons of tools on offense, unlike Pit which just has a good offense. Its an "on paper bet", so take it what its worth.

3-0 last weak, 14-11 for the season.

Another week without a lot of great lines.

SF +7.5 vs Atl - Don't love Atlanta, lack of pass rush is a major flaw. Not bad to have more than 7 points.
Was vs NE Under 52 - Seems like a high O/U to me, the highest of the week. Of course NE can keep up their end of the bargain, but can Washington? Washington can still muck it up a bit too. NE wins, 51-0!

Last week (week #8) I selected two "strong bets" and both PUSHED !

This week I failed to post my picks in time.

don't fret, don't panic....with bated breath, sure you just can't wait for my most mediocre 4-4 p-o-t-w....Peyton returns to where it all began for him, although he is not quite the same Peyton these fans remember....take the COLTS +5 for this week's play.

    Good Luck,

    Sharky

in honor of the 9 yr anniversary of Denny Green’s “there are who we thought they are….why we took the damn field!.....and let them off the hook” – actually it was last month, but our weak 1 pick, the VIKINGS visited the 49ers on MNF and got thoroughly trounced 20-3 laying a field goal….I promise that Tues morning – didn’t get to watch a play live – I was questioning my “p-o-t-w system”…..my what a difference 10 wks makes…if they met again this in San Fran they would be a tidy 7+ point favorite….so Vikes “are who we thought they are”

The VIKINGS make their 2nd visit of the season to the Bay area….this time to face the Raaaaaaiiders at the Black Hole…..the VIKES offense has been offensive and OAKLAND’S defense bas been offensive….but the Raaaaaaiders “are who we thought they are”, too….the better team at home….take the RAIDERS -3 for this week’s play

    Good Luck,

    Sharky

    Last week: 1-0
    Season: 5-4

PS: of course, Jim Mora's "Playoffs???....we're just trying to win one" and a distant 3rd Herm Edwards, "you play to win the game" would be a distant 3rd

Last week I had a casino "free roll" picking winning teams -- NOT against the spread.

I picked 12 winners out of 15 games; but neglected to see exactly how many won ATS.

It appeared to have been 9 Wins 6 Losses.

    BUT ...

    For this
    10th WEEK I like TWO (2) Games:

    GIANTS over Pats +7

    PANTHERS over Titans -4

2-0 last week, 16-11 for the year.

TB +1 vs Dal - TB is not a horrible team, and their rookie QB shows some poise, although Dallas is probably desperate at this point.
SEA -3 vs Ari - Still have to give home field to Seattle.
Cle +6.5 vs PIT - Roeth not starting.
