In my view, the compelling advantage of TKO over Hi-Lo is that you always know where TC of +4 is ("the pivot point"). It's always a fixed point in your ramp. Also, TKO beats Hi-Lo by a smidge in overall performance. I was just hoping that the CVBJ product would incorporate this capability so I could practice a little more efficiently. Right now I'm using KO as the playing strategy and making my own adjustments for TKO (so I keep getting dinged by the error messages due to departures from KO). Thanks for your input...
It is harder to play perfect High-Low strategy. Know every indices and play perfectly. It would be much easier to play perfect KO Strategy even with 150 indices.

Agree - as for the index plays, I just take the top 50 or so and group them into 3 groups as follows: 0 (covers -1 to +1), +4 (covers +2 to +6) and +10 (covers +7 to +12). Believe it or not, this simplified strategy (e.g., "TKO 0, 4 & 10") slightly outperforms Complete Hi-Lo with full indices (per a 2B round CVData sim: 6 Deck S17, DAS, LS, 5/6, 1-12, play all).

I believe it. Hilo has very wide bell curves. That makes for more frequent, more severe and longer duration downswings. That is detrimental to the size of your optimal bet spread if you keep RoR and BR equal. I am surprised TKO doesn't also suffer this malady (perhaps it does) but I am not an unbalanced count guy so when I am surprised I just chalk it up to lack of hands on experience.
