    European casinos...

    Hello Girls and Boys!

Any recommended European countries to play with favourable rules? (not against CSM)

    Thank you!

    Here is a hint:

    Some Eastern European countries.

    Typically poor penetration (67%)

Good Rules. ENHC often with ES10

France still has games with full early surrender. Most are CSM with a small edge off the top, but as of last year at least 1 was shoe dealt.

    Marvin,

I believe that you meant to say that there are CSM's that permit ES,
but the one shoe game that you failed to describe (or locate) does not.

    Hi Flash,

I meant what I said... But, I should have offered full disclosure rather than getting people's hopes up.

More precisely, as of 9 months ago:

    1) There were several full ES, DAS, ENHC CSM games in France with worthwhile max bets (500+ euro). Some of these tables would allow a 1-1.5 decks to accumulate in the discard tray before feeding them back into the drum; some of them fed the discards back into the drum after each round.

    2) There were several hand shuffled S17 DAS, no surrender games with worthwhile limits. Pen generally wasn't great.

    3) I found 1 6D, hand shuffled game with S17, DAS, ENHC, full early surrender. The max was only 100 Euro and due to the low limits the game was crowded, so it wasn't worth very much. If the game had higher limits I would not post about it on a public forum.

France has something like 400 casinos and I've only been to/heard reports on ~30 of them, so it's possible that other full ES shoe games exist.
All the casinos in France that I've been to are very small; the largest had a dozen tables total (all games, not just BJ).

I believe Al Francisco personally bankrupted a small privately owned French casino. To the owner's credit he later paid every dime even though he did not have the funds at the time of the slaughter.

That is the story, but like much of what passes as legend it is apocryphal.
Al Francisco had told ME - Ken Uston was a hopelessly poor player who
was totally undisciplined and never racked up any wins for his team.
