which recommends hitting a 4-card 17. This is not really Pontoon as I have seen it, which more closely resembles Spanish 21 than this does. I am highly sceptical of the posted house edge of 0.38% for these rules and this strategy.

THAT figure (noted on the website) is applicable ONLY to the online game

This Pontoon game is very different from Span21.

Frequently it's erroneously referred to as "Like Spanish21"

The dealer wins on ties -- no pushes.

BOTH dealer cards are dealt face down.

Player cannot stand on 14 or less. etc.
