Any recommended casinos to play in Vegas?

I'm going to Vegas in 1-2 weeks, and was wondering if anybody would be willing to recommend one or two casinos with a good blackjack rule? I'll have a car. I don't plan to play much at all, but given a reasonable rule, I may play a bit. Since I'm not a subscriber, I'm not sure if I'm able to receive PM. Thanks much!

    You cannot get PM's

I suggest that you purchase C.B.J.N. at bj21.com

or go to The Gambler's Bookstore at
    5473 S. Eastern Ave

Barring that ... you sound like a low roller.

There are hardly any good low stakes games

left in Lost Wages; but I am going to suggest:

Red Rock on W. Charleston Blvd.

Red Rock is a good suggestion.
Luck is nothing more than probability taken personally!

    Stealth,

We both know that L.V. offers so very little to red-chippers,
other than a chance to donate their money to their coffers.
Many ~ Most amateurs embrace fantasies about Las Vegas,
and are surprised as their miniature bankrolls evaporate.

I echo ZMF's suggestion to get a copy of CBJN.

In addition to Red Rock, Palace Station has decent low limit ($5 minimum) games.

Also (and I may get some disagreement here), I'd also recommend El Cortez downtown. It's rightfully referred to as "the sweaty Spaniard," because they are quick to back off / flat bet. So don't camp out and spread here. But I think it's worth a short visit.

Ditto - low and medium stakes (under $200 max bet) will draw no heat and you will be treated as a valued, paying customer. The casino complex is a very nice/new facility with upscale restaurant/shopping options (e.g., the Yard House - my personal favorite). Staff are very friendly. They cater to the Summerlin locals. They know they have to differentiate themselves from the Strip's tourist games. Check out the Red Rock Canyon while you're there - very impressive.

    CallSaul,

Recently, I was training a Poker Dealer, (who had just finished dealing in the World series of Poker)

He went to the Sweaty Spaniard and after flat betting $5 for an hour, he was sufficiently audacious

to place a $10 bet. He was immediately told that he would do well to "hit the bricks." FACT !

You said ... "I may play a bit."

Very few 3/2 payoff blackjack games left on the strip for sub $100 min players. I agree, get a copy of CBJN and be prepared to play off strip a significant portion of the time. You can order a copy from Stanford Wong's site and download the CBJN pdf file. It's essential.

Most LV Strip casinos shifted all of their main floor blackjack games to payoff only 6/5 instead of 3/2 about 4 months ago. If you can't play high limit games you won't get 3/2 except at the locals casinos.

I don't know if it's an early week or early morning thing, but I found a s17, 3/2, las game at the Cosmopolitan today with a $25 minimum. OTOH, at the Bellagio even the $25 and $50 games were 6/5. 3/2 didn't start until $100.

I traveled to LV from Australia for a week in April. When I was there I found a 90% DD game at the Circus Circus. However, that pen only came from a particular couple of dealers, so look around. It was only $10 during the day, $15 at night. 2:1 BJ promo that runs for 3 minutes every hour. I hit it 3 times.
