Honestly, if I saw tools, I'd worry that security is watching closer than usual to make sure he isn't trying to break into something.
May the cards fall in your favor.

Mechanics around here are very well paid. They can make ridiculous money.

Im going to assume you are white and young. The worst but there are plenty of white young people that gamble for high stakes. Unless you are an incredible actor there are a couple ways to go. One is the jersey shore type get fake tan jewelry etc. I stole that from smallcap but it works.

Another act I like is golfer. Wear polo shirt khakis decent shoes and golf hat. Especially effective if casino is near golf course.

Another is to just be well dressed and stylish wear a blazer etc. You don't really have to spend a lot the pit never has any idea on brands etc. This only makes sense at high end casinos.

Dressing as a young stock broker, lawyer, luxury car salesman, etc.
~ with a nice fitting sport jacker ~is actually the best way to go.
Professions where the person may have "more money than brains".

So far, I've got tee shirts, dirty fingernails, uniforms, rodeo rider, greasy mechanic, young rich executive, sport jackets, suits, jewelry, conventioneer and golfer. I don't think there's much left?

Kind of a contradictory statement. If you dress as a high class money making individual, you most likely have the brains, idk where you got that idea from that they DONT have brains. I dont think casinos would write off a young well dressed kid with a suit, quickly, if at all. Now a dirty greasy mechanic, now that my friend, is something to try.

5 star post L.O.L. Picturing it made me laugh, greasy mechanic with tools in his front pocket along with his friend with a miner's helmet playing blackjack and/or backcounting.

That's a scene to see alright.
