    Maryland Live!!!!

I visit Maryland Live often but don't play there I notice that 90% of the tables are CSM. Is that trend for stores now. What will happen to the AP if this is a trend continues to other stores? Whats your opinion on this store.

I dont think this is accurate at all. This store has $15 8 deckers on the floor but the HL room is completely dealt out of a 6D shoe with excellent pen 90% in some cases, $100 mins- there are tons of tables in the HL room, prob at least 10. They sweat the action though badly.

This appears to be the growing trend in US casinos $15 mins on the floor with monster 8 deckers and HL rooms with $50 or $100 mins all dealt out of a 6D shoe or DD. My sentiment is that it is challenging these days to be a red chipper starting out as an AP building your bankroll. BUT, the good news is that there ARE still some excellent 6d games available with 85-90% pen if you search for them on the floor with $5-10 mins. They are few and far between but they are out there and can get you $50-100/EV depending on your spread.

Um csms make up 50% of the games, not 90%. Try walking to the other side of the casino lol.

It's a big place, so even though half csms, there are plenty of shoe games..all 8D....but at least it's s17 das surrender. Not sure about high limit.

s17 is about to change to h17 on the main floor at most Maryland casinos I've heard. The rules changes were approved last week.

Biting my lip. Or perhaps the better analogy for posting responses sitting on my hands. the small things keep getting more and more significant.

The H17 rule will take a few months to impose.

Meanwhile, I was just there and the pen' at $25

6 deckers with fine rules NEAR the High Limit room

were all cutting off between 2.0 and 2.2 decks !

EDIT: I was indeed referring to The Horseshoe in Baltimore.

    SCG,

I played through a shoe (as a "refusal") and won some.

I then presented a Player's Card and played their 100 X Odds Craps game,

earned enough comps for dinner and a few thousand dollars as well.

    I'll not likely go back.

I believe you're talking about another casino "down the street" from MD Live. Live only has 6 deck shoes in HL room that are at least 100 minimum and I'm pretty sure they don't offer 100 x odds on Craps.

Yes, i believe zen master played at the horseshoe. This makes a lot more sense now. I did not recall 6d on MD Live main floor

I'm not a fan of that horseshoe. my spidey sense was tingling when I was playing 6 deck. I felt that I was unwelcome. Anyone have similar experience? Maybe I overreacted, only played once.

When I was there, I saw only 8d on the floor, I played $100 mins in HL 6D S17 - pen was excellent 85-90%. It was practically impossible to cash out chips at MD Live- I was asked for ID for even a measly $2200 cashout. Horseshoe has 6D on the floor starting at $25, 1.5 pen. Basically every place in MD I felt was a waste of time heat wise.
