    Multi hand martingale

I have been trying something on my sim. It's not the same sim you guys use, but it allows me to play mutiple positions and it uses 6 or 8 decks in a shoe with the cut card placed at whatever penetration you want.

My starting bet is $25 and any position that lost I would double the bet and any position that won I would return to the $25 minimum. I tried this with two and three positions with a starting stack of $1000.

I can't seem to bust out. My stack just keeps growing. I've played hundreds of hands and many shoes. WTF?

Has anyone tried this on a sim?

Pointless to waste even an electron on such innumeracy.

It is sad that you do not know any better than this !

All you are doing is depleting a shallow pool of respect.

You have proved either that the sim is flawed or that you haven't run enough hands.

Zen - Why the fuck do you have to be like that? Why can't you just be constructive like Norm was. If you are learning something and ask a question is this the kind of response that would feel constructive to you? Why do you have to insult me. I was just asking a question.

It appears your question evoked a fair degree of petulance and indignation from our revered resident virtuoso. No need for overreaction. His avatar alone speaks volumes, no?

A nicer way to say what ZMF said is that we all know unless your correlating bets to shifting advantage the sum of all your bets times the HE will give you your expected loss. To sim to see if tripling down on a bad idea will be useful is a waste of time.

It's easy to get frustrated with voodoo system posts after a decade or two. I just had a back-and-forth e-mail with someone that wanted to know if CVData could sim his simple progression. I patiently explained that such systems don't work and simming was a waste of time and money. His last e-mail was last night and read:

"I'll just take my flawed money to the bank. Remember my name: xxxxxxxx.
    "

Apparently he thinks he'll become famous for a simple increase on a loss, decrease on a win strategy. (Oops, did I give it away?)

We all know that it is wrong to tease animals or stare at retardates,

So, it is my "noblesse oblige" to tolerate ever-present absurdities.

It is my clear hope and expectation that you are here to learn.

I should not have insulted you for your lack of logical thought.
