Your mother got an X-chromosome from both her parents. You got one of them so it is a 50% shot that your X-chromosome was your maternal grandfathers. Your maternal uncles got their X-chromosome from your maternal grandmother so that is the other X-chromosome you had a 50% shot receiving from your mother. Every maternal uncles has a 50% chance of having the same X-chromosome as your mother had a 50% chance of passing on to you. So each uncle has a 25% chance of sharing your X-chromosome. Your mother shares the X-chromosome that your maternal uncles have but also could pass that X-chromosome rather than your maternal grandfathers X-chromosome. So you know your mother has your maternal grandfathers X-chromosome and there is a 50% chance she shares your maternal grandmother's X-chromosome with your maternal uncles. Your maternal uncles is a place to look for possible expression of your X-chromosomes recessive characteristics but they may not even share the X-chromosome your mother got from your maternal grandmother.

So to sum up the odds you share your X-chromosome with your maternal grandfather is 50%. The odds you got your X-chromosome from your maternal grandmother is 50%. The odds your mother got the same X-chromosome as a maternal uncle did from your maternal grandmother is 50%. The odds you share your X-chromosome with a maternal uncle is 25%. The places to see your X-chromosomes recessive characteristics expressed is any male maternal blood relative but the most likely to share your X-chromosome is your maternal grandfather.

Yeah... but if you're less stressed, you might care less about going bald.
May the cards fall in your favor.

Baldness in males is correlated nearly 100% with testosterone levels,
which is the sole reason that boys and healthy women are rarely bald.

Will someone tell those healthy women that bald men are better lovers?

So up till about last year, I've had great healthy hair, but noticeably in the last year, specifically in the last 6 months, my hair has been thinning out like rapidly super fast. On average would you say your hair is thin or near balding since starting your blackjack career? I cant figure if its the stress, my poor sleep schedule, my poor diet or what. Or whether its genetics (but my parents have full set of hair). I'm a youngling at 23, so this stuff shouldnt be happening yet...

So yeah. Think BJ has stressed out your hair? Every shower recently I just see the strands fall
Never mind the hair. Be aware of the stroke.

Case#1: An AP died of a stroke while driving home.
He drove 3 hours to a casino. He played for 10 hours. On his way home on a highway, he suffered a stroke, crashed his car, and died.

Case#2: Another AP survived a stroke while sunbathing in his backyard pool.
He's lucky. His wife got him to a hospital just in time to save his neck. He recovered fully.

Case#3: Another AP survived a stroke, with major damages.
He suffered a stroke which left his left side paralyzed. Now he scouts the casinos with a walker.

When you shower, you should see hair fall out. I see it every shower and have a full head of hair.

There are lots of causes of strokes. There are many causes related to lifestyle that may apply to APs: smoking or exposure to secondhand smoke, physical inactivity, weight, poor eating habits. High blood pressure is a well-known cause, which may or may not be related to lifestyle. It's not always easy to live a healthy lifestyle on the road, particularly if you eat at buffets and work weird hours.

There is also a medical condition alopecta area where you immune system basically attacks your hair follicals. Given your age and the rapidity that you are describing your hair loss it might be worth checking into.

There is NO doubt that the biggest killer of all is STRESS.

Any type of STRESS generates hormones including CORTISOL.

Chronically high levels of which contribute to Heart Attacks, Strokes, etc.
