    Anonymous Index Generator

On bjmath, Anonymous posted an excel index generator. I downloaded it but when I opened it, it is in read only format. I tried clicking on the file name and then properties to remove the read only check but it wasn't highlighted. I feel there is a way to remove the read only designation or he would not have made it available.

Does anyone know how to correct this?

    Thanks

If it's locked down using VBA then you're dead in the water.
Maman died today. Or yesterday maybe, I don't know.

Thanks a lot muckz. I hope that isn't the case and it is just something I am not doing right.

Are you talking about MGP? I have it and it seems to function properly.

No Jabberwoky, this is called Multi Parameter Index Generator V 1.1. It is an excel spread sheet obtained off of the old bjmath website. I got there by an old post from Sonny but I didn't save the URL. I'll try to find it. Of course it's not needed to generate indices if you have CVData but I was just going to look at the math involved.

If you have CVData, you can try opening it with CVSpread. It can open older Excel files and ignores password protection of cells.

It says it can't open it Norm. I suppose it may have something to do with me downloading it from the way back machine archives. I don't know.
