A couple casinos in San Diego (Pala, Borona) allow "money plays" in their HL blackjack games, including money splits/resplits and money doubles.

Back to his book, the largest inaccuracy I read was something that was not blackjack related.
Using whichever program you use to view PDFs, search "150" in his eBook and it's the first search term to come up.

    Thanx Shadowless,

I sometimes forget that a casino that is a Native American Enterprise can do as they see fit.

In fact I recently saw crap tables that instead of paying 15-1 and 30-1 on "hop bets" they

    actually were paying 14-1 and 29-1 !

Actually, I have still seen money play in Vegas. Maybe not as much as before it's actually the Native American Casino's here that will not allow money play and convert all to chips. I think it's a procedure and to make sure they properly account for the "ante" house paid or player paid, but not one here allows cash that I'm familiar with. And yes, I have seen some weird or short odds on different games.............you have to know the game you are playing. Sometimes it's as simple as 15 FOR 1 or 30 FOR 1 v actually lowering the signage on the table.

I am reasonably sure that the Nevada C C C forbids "money plays", but the e_book's author claims that

a year ago he observed that in Downtown Vegas and 16 months ago saw it in Henderson. Am I mistaken
    ?

I was obliged to apologize to him for my "brain fart" in misstating the average dealer hand as 19, when it is 18.1
