I use 12 v 5 (and hit if TC is below -1.5, so I don't know if you should use -1 or -2) and A4 v 4 (double at zero), and don't use the two pair splitting indexes that are +5. Aside from TT, I capped my splitting index memorization at +4 (splitting hands, other than tens, are pretty rare when the true count is +5 or more).

But overall, even though I use halves, I use the same number of index points as you, replacing two with two others. I also found a small percentage of your index numbers are off by .5 or 1 (I take insurance at 3.5, for example), but that is likely due to my using halves instead of hi-lo. Overall, though, the numbers you use look good to me.

Learn them and frequently touch up on them - If you need to adjust them for your best gain(s) then do so.

I guess that "touch up on" is the British equivalent of "review or refresh" in the U.S.A.

I've heard the term used in the U.S. a decent bit. I'm not so sure of its British origin.
