    No more wonging

That's pretty much what I was told the other night. What they actually said was "you can't be getting up and staying away from the table for so long any more." I had just come back from a restroom break of less than 5 minutes. I told the guy that and he says "yeah, but earlier you were gone for quite a while." Then, as I start to head to the bar to get a drink before even sitting down again he asks where I'm going now. I say I'm going to the bar for a drink, which is only about 25 feet away. He then points out that this is uneccesary since the waitress is right here. She was about 3 tables down and had already passed us up, so I went anyway. I certainly was never gone the 15 or 20 minutes that they alot every other player to be gone before giving up their spot. A few minutes later as the pit guy that told me this is leaving his shift he makes sure that I hear him tell the other pit lady "you know about so-and-so right?" So this obviously wasn't just about being gone from the table for too long. I'm not sure if this was originated by the guy that actually told me or if it came from upstairs.

    Anyone else have this happen?

I wasn't told to limit my bet or anything else like that. Maybe I shouldn't even be posting this since it only happened a couple of days ago, but what the hell. I don't plan on changing anything though. If they're so concerned they can just back me off right in front of all those nice customers. I think if that was a possibility they would have done so a long time ago since they well know what I'm up to.

If they didn't flat-bet you, the guy appears to have an unusual understanding of the game and why play-all is bad and wants to make the game unplayable.

Or maybe civilians just complained about all the card flow you messed up.
"Wait a minute. How do you beat someone to death with their own skull? That doesn't seem physically possible." "That's what Jimmy kept screaming: 'This doesn't seem physically possible!'"

I don't think it was the civilians. Nobody was complaining about anything as far as I know.

Who told you this? If it was a dealer, forget about it. If it was a pitboss type, just don't play on his shift a few times. If you want to be militant about it, tell him you have a kidney problem and is he really saying you can't use the bathroom at will. Problem with this is it will bring unwanted attention to yourself.

Casinos hate wonging, many will only put up with it for so long. It can be a major cause of a barring or worse.

Especially if it's crowded and others ask about your seat.

Watch the first deck. If moves into positive territory, start playing and leave if it goes south.

He said "the pit guy that told me this". It was hidden near the end of the first paragraph.

Yeah, I guess this guy is pretty much a suit now. He started off a dealer not too long ago but now I usually only see him working the floor. I guess he's actually a dual rate. And there's a little more to this than I first posted since this casino just happened on this very night to return to a set of table conditions that are more favorable to wonging than they've had for the last few months (more player friendly). I recognized this immediately and I guess he did too. I'm leaning toward this coming directly from him and not his superiors from "upstairs". Ever since he first started dealing to me he seems to have been looking for some opportunity to call me out for some reason. I could tell that he was counting along with me and there was the occasional offhand (sometimes not-so-subtle) remark that he knew I was counting. He would do some weird stuff while dealing like shift speeds suddenly from lighting fast to turtle slow, maybe trying to throw me off, I don't know.

I think like ZG and others said maybe I've just gotten comfortable and been doing this too aggressively for too long now. I've been pretty obvious, but they've known about me for a long time now and have never actively limited my play or action (like there's much to limit anyway). I've weathered storms like this at this spot before like actually being called out to the pit as a counter by a *****y overzealous dealer (who's now a dedicated pit critter) and I'm still going there. So I will tread cautiously for a bit and try to avoid this guy but I'm not stopping.

What could be worse than barring? Beating you up?
