A number of years ago I ordered some chips and decks of cards from an online casino store. some of the order had to be back ordered. The store thew in a copy of "Black Jack 678" by "Stickysoft" because of the late order. I have used this to set card values, I use a KO count, but I adjust the count to start at a a different point to avoid counting negative numbers. Most BJ games I find are entertaining but not practical because its you and the dealer; with 678 you set a game with multiple players, different count strategies different dealing speeds and training to count a single double, or multiple deck shoe. I am an very inexperienced casino player, I use counting on computer games and done well but have not tried counting in a casino. You can count on one hand the number of times I been to a casino.
I've tried find updates for this software and it seemed to have disappeared. Anyone know if these guys are still producing software? Has anyone used this and the Verite CV software and can make an intelligent comparison. To me 678 seems pretty powerful.
