I tried doing some sims on CVCX concerning what's better, however I just realized that it was all in vain since I don't believe that CVCX takes into account the effects of card eating. Perhaps a non-standard CVData sim would be able to give accurate results for what we are trying to prove.
Anyone care to give a heads up of setting that I need to pay close attention to/consider?
EDIT: Multi-tracking was the simulation I was thinking of

Well I wouldn't have commented on what I think of Z's character but his posts about extorting money from backliners calling it an AP play says wall anyone needs to know about is character. People can decide for themselves just what that is. If they think it is a good move perhaps they should examine their own character. I know if you actually try this you will quickly get on the casino's undesirable player list and they will be quick to back you off thereafter. That is definitely not a good idea.
I've been using KO for two years and about 175 hours.
I would like some recommendations on upgrading my strategy from KO Preferred to a strategy that can provide a little better performance.
I'm not a statistician and have only read 2 books so far (Beat the Dealer and Knock Out Blackjack) really don't have that much time.
In Atlantic City and Eastern PA, the game is exclusively 8 decks and that is where I play most of the time.
Penetration, typically 75 to 88% (Less in AC, greater in PA).
In PA, surrender is allowed, in AC, surrender is not allowed. In PA, there is S17 in AC, I play at H17 ($10 minimum) tables.
With KO Preferred, I have to wait for a delta of 22 low cards until I can raise my bet.
From what I have been reading in this forum, if I can do something just a little different,
I would be able to modify my betting from KO and possibly get better results.
Thanks
T3, your posts and eagerness to pile on me shows far more about your character than anything else. Moreover, taking things out of context and hypothetical I had used a very long time ago and putting it here shows you r character as well. There were periods when a lot of AP's made an issue of your long posts but I won't get into it.
Zee's response:
Wow, quoting a post from over 3 years ago to attack a poster rather than their posts. I guess I have an obsessed poster that views me as an enemy. All I did was say what everyone was already thinking. Extorting backliners is the kind of move that will quickly get you barred from the casino. It also may be illegal. It is a very low thing to do. You think quoting my very mild criticism of your reprehensible behavior that was posted over 3 years ago makes me look bad? Also posting about defamation of character with a post that does the same is extremely hypocritical.
Pointing out bad advice given by other posters is what this forum is about. It is not my fault your posts constantly give very bad advice to other forum members. If you gave good advice I would follow up your posts with a +1. The point about character in this post was intended to get you to understand how the casino will see you and why they would have little tolerance for someone that extorts money from their patrons. There is a reason the casino doesn't let people bet on your side bet. What you said you do is why many casinos don't allow scavenger play or betting on another side bet. They know some people are slow that they will not give the person their due. They will try to get profit from other patrons rather than the casino. The casino can't get involved and doesn't want the bad blood you and others cause in their casino. It was really bad advice and deserved to be pointed out that the casino would view it as a low life they don't want to have in their casino.
I guess you are saying long posts is the same thing as suggesting people use reprehensible tactics that are probably illegal. Sometimes you amaze me at how messed up your thinking process is. I don't need to assassinate your character, you do it everyday with your posts. It is the duty of the other forum members to point out all the bad advice you give. Unfortunately most that would do so probably have you on their ignore list. That means the rest of us have to be more vigilant.
