CVData, 8,8 against Ten and ES10

    Norm,

I'm attaching this table that shows that 8,8 vs. Ten is not a surrender. Why is it? The strategy used in the sim is "Complete Basic Stategy".

Also the table shown when clicking the 'Playing' button presents the LS values, can I see the ES10 values anywhere?

    Thanks,

    BJFan

    8-8 is a correct Late Surrender against 10 at +2 (Hi-Opt II)
I imagine that it is probably +1 with Hi-Lo.

He's showing you a table for BASIC STRATEGY. It says not to early surrender 8,8 vs. 10, which is, clearly, a mistake.

CVData doesn't have ES10 tables. You can add them.

The tables in CV products come from the books as this is what people are used to.

I find it tricky having the ES10 option and not having the table. Anyway, how can I add this table?

CVData allows direct alteration of the tables. Just open the strategy, select the No hole card surrender table and change it.

    Norm,

I cant't get it work properly. 8,8 v. X doesn't show -0.50. Is there anything wrong in what I'm doing?

CVData does not support decimal indices. They're silly. You can double everything if you really want to.

    You misunderstood me, I meant I can't get this -0.50 (or -50.00) for 8.8 v. X, the IBA:

Go to Tools-Export, create an export file and e-mail it.
