    My Betting Strategy

Is probably a little different from most people.

Instead of focusing on the cards, I focus more on the amount that I'm betting. In that:

    1) I start out with the minimum.

    2) If I lose, I'll double my bet, and keep doubling it (to a point) until I win.

    3) Once I win, I'll reset to the minimum.

Does anyone else do this? I adapted this from playing craps, and so far, so good...I'm still up (having won more than I've lost) overall.

It's called the martingale. You have many winning sessions (well, depending on length of session), and few big losing sessions. And those losing sessions will come.

If you value your money, I recommend stop doing this. If you're comfortable with losing it all quickly (it can and will happen)....then do what you want.

Yeah, I've been reading about this tonight.

I see where most people would recommend not doing it...however, it seems to work for me overall. Granted, I have lost a couple of sessions, but I attribute that more to not having win/loss limits more than anything (versus the winning sessions where I did have limits).

If you don't change your bet with the shifting advantage as cards are removed, in the long run you will lose your total bet times the house advantage. All a be5ing comic does is affect the ebb and flow of your BR on the way to this long run expectation. Best advice for a martingaler that is still ahead is quit now while you are not at the expected huge loss that is inevitable.
