Problems with Blackjack Verite for Android tablet

Just purchased $14 download to Samsung 10.0 tablet. Within minutes encountered repeating bugs resulting in blank and/or unresponsive screens. Restarting app with same results repeatedly. Cheap software so didn't expect that much but this is bogus. Definitely not purchasing more expensive Verite pc software after this unless there is a fix. Any help would be welcome. Thanks

Settle down Chris. First of all, the proper procedure would be to speak with customer support before going on a public forum and blasting a product. I think you will find when Norm wakes up that your problem will be handled. I can assure you that Norm is not going to beat you out of your $14. Relax!

Samsung has a remarkably long history of bugs in their OS. They usually fix them some time after release. What version of Android, and is it the latest version available for that device.

I got a Samsung tablet for a Christmas gift months ago and took it back to the department store because I don't use tablets. A deck of Bicycles cost $3 and you can even peel the paint off of them.

Samsung makes some beautiful hardware. It appears they just rush their software to market too early.

Norm, thanks for quick reply and sorry to vent my frustration here. I had just returned from another bad day at the BJ tables and determined to beat these rapacious casinos at their own game found your software. Was going to get a the recommended $90 version for my pc but also wanted something on the tablet to practice with. It is a 10" Samsung model Gt-P5113, Android version 4.2.2, Kernel version 3.0.31-1978026 if that helps. Also when I mentioned it goes to blank screen I meant a blank game screen, either the off white background or a green felt not a truly blank or black screen. The problems appear after making a wrong play decision. It seems to start out working ok by taking you to the
chosen strategy chart and flashing the box to highlight the right choice, great! But randomly after a few hands and another wrong play it just goes to an empty game background. I backed out of the screen which went to game's home page to start the flash drill again, frustrating. Now every wrong play goes to blank game page and also an unresponsive blank game page forcing me to terminate and restart thw app altogether, very frustrating. Am I doing something wrong here? Need a training to to beat these damn casinos! Thanks again.

What is the version of the app (bottom of the home page)?
Is their an update available to Android?
Try powering the device completely off to reboot Android.

V1.1.2 the version currently being sold by googleplay store. Just went back to run it some more and OMG it sure is buggy for whatever reason. I deliberately made wrong plays and random choices. Immediately got blank game screens and finally could not even back up to games home screen. It loaded a partial home and unresponsive home screen. As is this is totaly unusable. Hope there is a fix as I really need a drilling app and yours would be great if it worked for me. Thanks.

Thanks for the wonderfully helpful anvice Don.

Norm It looks like my android version 4.2.2 is the most up to date available.

Is there anyone else out there running this app on a tablet using android 4.2.2 OS who can verify that it works flawlessly? With all due respect I am not able to use this app as it is consistently dysfunctional for me. If a couple of wrong plays render it inoperable it's useless as a training tool.

I assume it works for others? Is this the first time anyone reported these issues? Hopefully it can be corrected and will run without having to power down and reboot every 2 minutes. Obviously that is not usable.

Works fine with all versions of Android from 3.0 on. I found another user in my notes that had the same problem with a 10" Android tablet running 4.2.2. If there is no Android update available, it won't run until and unless Samsung fixes the problem. Sorry, you'll need to get a refund from GooglePlay.

You might try turning off the error logs on the home page. Perhaps Samsung is having a problem with SQL.

Tried with error logs off, no good still freaked out by wrong plays. Everything from only one car dealt, no cards dealt, blank gamescreen to finally won't even start the flash drill at all. Oh well guess your app won't work on my tablet, dang! I wanted to get something more powerful and with realistic play on my HP laptop running windows7. Your response to my problem was speedy and helpful so maybe I'll try your $90 program. Can you recommend an app for my tablet to drill? I really have an axe to grind with the casinos! Thanks.
