    Thank you all for your help. -3 H17 and -1 S17 it is. And Norm, I am reinstating your salary. It was in a moment of hysteria that I cut it because you don't know the indices for all of the counts and all of the rules off the top of your head.

    I use S17 -1 and show H17 as being -2. I don't play much H17.

    If I didn't play H17 I wouldn't have a game available.

    Just for practice, I ran my first sim where I created my own strategies for 3 players. I thought I'd see what would happen if you compared an ILL 18 player with one who used ILL 18 but increased each index by +1 and another player who used ILL 18 but decreased each index by -1. I did not increase insurance index. It appears if in doubt which of 2 indices is correct, you are better off choosing the higher index.

    As I said, I just did this for practice and don't know how accurate it is, but I did learn more about cvdata by doing it.
