Notwithstanding my regular day to day back discomfort, I ended up in the emergency ward tonight, after about a month or so of (other) increasing back pain, which was affecting my ability to walk. Over the past week, pain levels escalated, and today, close to unbearable level.

The prelim diagnosis is inflammation of the SI joint, likely caused by the onset of arthritis. The inflammation will hopefully decrease, and with a prescription of Celebrex (filled) and a couple of other items to be filled if the Celebrex needs a boost.

I mention this, because it occurred to me of the possibility that the onset of this may have been caused by uncomfortable stools, the type normally found at blackjack tables. I have no idea if this was in fact the cause, but it seems to me that the possibility is definitely there. Has anyone experienced something if this nature, and if so, what steps did you take.
