    What's up at the MGM?

Just got in last night (Thursday night) and found not one BJ table with 3-2 payout. All are 6-5. Is this the new normal???
Anyway - walked across to NYNY and found some good 3-2 games, including a good DD game. Hope that MGM madness doesn't spread.

Watch out at that "good" NYNY double deck game. The place is a stifling sweatshop. Playing showing any remote possibility of brain usage for more than chump change will quickly get you escorted out, and not always politely.

From all of the discussion on it on here, I have no desire to go to LV.

Thanks for the heads up - I did notice the rather nervous floorman hovering around the game. Hope my act holds up - it involves lots of beer and ramblings of a half-drunk person (but never ever losing track of the count!). I think he just got disgusted with me.

I was there recently. You are absolutely right.

Re MGM, there are 3:2 games in a small pit near the HL slot room. The min is $100. Adjacent to those games is a pit with $100 min 6:5 games! Not surprisingly, the tables were empty when I walked by.

Did they kill all the shoe games? Last time I was there they had an OK shoe game, with a bunch of 6:5 mixed in.

There were a couple 3-2 games in the higher limit area (minimum $50 and up). Other than that, all shoe games were 6:5.

I was able to find $25 min at various times (less at night time). The games are s17 and the pit is attentive. The h17 pit was good since it was way more laid back.
