When I went to play I gave the floor man my players card and shortly after I was placed on a flat bet. I did this because I wanted to see if the SLS blacklisted my information. Now I'm stuck, I can no longer play rated, at least with my information. I used to use my cousins ID before I was 21 to drink and party. Now I'm thinking of using it again to play rated and get the comps, which I dearly valued. Obviously now I'll play with more camo and smaller spreads. But if I get caught with his ID and credit card (which i need to check in) am I looking at legal issues???
    please help
Unless there's something new, I doubt SLS is sharing information with NY NY. But I could be wrong. Does anyone know differently? I do know that MR dropped Griffin and run their own book, but I don't know if they've subscribed to any other service, or maybe even gone back to Griffin.

X2...in fact, this is my exact strategy EVERYWHERE...comp=peanuts; spread=$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Dude maybe during the week it cheaper but in one weekend I was saving myself easily 600-800 dollars because of the free rooms and food. I don't think my EV was affected more than that in 14 hours of play. Plus I felt that using some of Max Rubin's comp tricks also helped my camouflage because of the necessary bet raises when being rated. Still no one has answered my question of it being illegal to use my cousins ID and Credit card.

Ok so is my information throughout Vegas and California (where i live and most often play) most likely toast forever if I use a players card??
and is it illegal for me to use someone else's ID and credit card for casino comps??

Most likely forever toast at SLS. Maybe NYNY. If toast at NYNY probably the rest of MGM as well. That should be the extent of the damage. Not a legal professional but: It is probably illegal. Unlikely to get caught in such a way that there would be legal consequences. If you are somehow caught (by police) legal consequences would not likely significant. Many of us do it, your choice.

In order for you to use someone's ID (with their permission) for casino comps, you usually have to show an approved ID to claim those comps, such as a drivers license or passport. My understanding is that the use of any State or Federal ID that does not belong to you is a crime.

A credit card on the other hand is not a State or Federal ID and to show it as identification is not a crime unless it is used to break the law but as I said, in most places a credit card or some other form of identification will not allow you to claim your comps.

There are about 12 podcasts with Bob Nersesian on richardmunchkin.com. I forget in which one of these he covered your question but you can listen to them and get your answer.
