If I go on a coffee break or to lunch by myself, I always have an AP book with me and read. Very often people will sit down beside me and look to see what I am reading. I have noticed that no one ever asks what THEY should do, they always go off on a tangent about how I should play to win and what machines to play etc. They go on for 20 or 30 minutes explaining how to play to me so I just sit back and nod and listen to what they have to say and offer no suggestions, knowing all the time they don't have a clue.

I just got back from such a session with a guy who rambled for 30 minutes and said he was a numbers guy and if he read one of the books he'd catch on real quick. If I didn't know I'd never get my book back, I'd loan him a beginner book "Theory of Blackjack" and tell him after he memorized and understood everything in there, he'd be ready to play for small stakes.
