Hotwire hot deals, for hotel stays

Your recommendation please if you have experienced using Hotwire.

I used Hotwire once to get a room in A.C and it went very well. It was a good discounted room also. I'm not sure where you are planning on going but you should check groupon because they have a lot of "vacation" destination hotel deals that even include food and shows for a really good prices. Trivago is a good hotel site and it directly links to the major hotel (and not so major hotel) sites. Priceline works well and I have used both their named suppliers and their name your own price tool. A lot of Hotwire and Priceline Name Your Own Price depends upon how THEY classify the level of hotel. What you call a 3 or 4 star hotel, they might not. So you have to take a little risk AND make sure the hotel picked is actually in an area you want. Just FYI
