There is no definition of a "good game". When I was with a large team the biggest qualifier of whether a game was good was high table limits and high casino tolerance. The game was s17 ds with no surrender and no rsa and 2 decks cutoff from 6. We considered it an excellent game because we could spread from one hand of $50 to two hands of $2500 10 hours a day for weeks at a time and always had someone playing it. For a lower stakes player a good game might be low table minimums and deep penetration. It all depends.

Agree. It sounds like your team had the wherewithal to beat a game that many lone counters with limited bankroll would pass by. Your goals and your resources have a lot to do with determining what a good game is for you. In any case, it must be beatable. I remember when one of our former members had developed a count for beating SD 6:5 games. I wonder if he ever put it into action?

I'm way more concerned about finding stupid personnel than anything else. Obviously, I'm not playing H17 8 deckers that are cut in half, but I've played some games that many others would call "unplayable" because there was no heat.
