People say "walk" if you see another counter at the table. However, here in the smaller Midwest casinos, there is just one DD table with $25 min., and between job and family, and a 60 minute drive to the casino, I am not about to leave the table because there is a counter at the table. Moreover, I think professional counters are much harder to spot.
I thought I had seen a counter as he seemed to move up with the count but suddenly the guy would reduce to a minimum at high counts and then go back up. At a 6 deck game with a TC+4, he moves from $50 to $400, wins, the count remains +4, he drops to $25, gets a BJ, count is now +2, he bets $125. Is he a lucky ploppie or did he do that to throw off the PB watching the game? Is he a ploppie or a pro? He played 45 minutes, won some $1k and left. Never saw him before, never seen him since.
