If you played the first one different the rest of the deck would have been dealt differently.

Remember the lesson from The Random Walk. There will be times when you will be each player on the teams computer sim results. It just sucks when you are the guy coming in so far under EV that all the readers think he is cheating. Thank goodness there will also be times when you are that guy the readers think is a BJ genius and comes in WAY above EV.

Im not really sure what is the point you are trying to make.
Are you talking about the Deck Mate shuffler?
Do you really think 2 nights of getting your ass kicked is enough to jump to the conclusion they are cheating you?
Talk to any experienced pro here and ask them how many nights in a row they lost like that in hand shuffled games and how many times theyve experienced those imposible losing runs.
About a month or so back I played an entire week at a candy store where I dropped 150k playing this game: 6D, DOA, DAS, RSA, Full ES, 90% pen, 1 pass r&r shuffle and spreading 120x.
    It was a massacre.
It was not the first time this has happened to me and and I know it was also not the last.
    Shit happens my friend.

Bj is like a box of chocolates. That gooey brown filling isn't always candy.

You do realize that the game I described is probably the closest you can get to BJ heaven, right?
And that I play that game at a far bigger advantage that you could possibly play at any SD?

I get about a .25% player advantage off the top for Bjarg's game. Might be more. 120x spread with simple shuffle, his EV must be off the charts.

I will recite that sentence every time I lose, so that I don't complain about my fate.

    Seriously.

You'd probably be better off giving it to Bjarg. He has access to advantages I can only dream of.

Bjarg is the better one to ask but I believe SD games are poor targets for ST.

Limtitation of bet spread and hands really slants the game even more in their favor. I play my ass off for a month for about the same profit as 1 sports bet. This isn't a hobby - it's a frustrating investment of time and money without 65% pen. If I lost $150k in a week in BJ I'd be a candidate for the local laughing academy. The last time I lost 4 games in a row was in Summer of 2011. My personality began to change - impatient with traffic etc., It was more difficult to plunk down that 5th bet. But it turned around and I realized my error in judgement at the end of that season and corrected the next year.
The importance of good pen is HUGE but it's not the all and everything. If other things are "right", less than desired pen can still be a viable game.

I'm not a tracker and/or HCer myself but those are things that could be a factor. There are many other things, too (tolerance levels, game rules, spread size, etc.). Even taking advantage of mistake prone dealers, if you go that route (I choose not to).
