    cvdata spread help

    hi norm and peeps
i bought cvdata but really am struggling to use it effectively. any tips on where to see tutorials or any helpful info?

is it possible to advise how to sim the following:

    6d
    h17
    das
    pen at 1.5 decks
    no surrender
    no rsa
    $10 min

playing with 2 others at table

    spread -

    1 x $10 @ all neg counts
    +1 - 2 x $25
    +2 - 2 x $50
    +3 - 2 x $100
    +4 - 2 x $150
    +5 - 2 x $200

can cvdata tell me the ideal spread for this game or any other game? i know cvcx can but i dont think it can tell me the result as i spread to 2 hands in positive counts

    thank you

    Hi Max85

You can run your sim in CVCX. You enter the rules, number of players etc at set up, then run the sim. There is a check box when you get the results screen to tell it to play 2 hands. It will then ask you at which count to start the 2 hands and it will give you the ideal spread under the optimal or "ideal" bets column. You can then check the 'freeze custom bets' box and play around with bets as you desire.

PS Didn't you get the instruction manuals when you purchased the programs? They contain some tutorials.

Play within your bankroll, pick your games with care and learn everything you can about the game. The winning will come. It has to. It's in the cards. -- Bryce Carlson
