    Person falls to death at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort

    A person died Tuesday in a fall from Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort, according to a statement from the Cherokee Indian Police Department.
    The police department determined the fall to be an accident, and no more information was available late Tuesday afternoon, the statement said.
    Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort is on the Qualla Boundary in Cherokee.

    I don't know, but the article I read on it mentioned "suicide" so many times I get the idea its actually a cover up lol

    I kind of believe that it was a suicide. I can imagine that the young man took a beating on the tables. It must have been a legendary beating at that to potentially jump off the roof. There is a bit of irony knowing that they he fell 21 floors. For some reason I've always had my eye on this property nestled up in The Great Smoky Mountains. I may make travel plans going there in the near future. Knowing that it's Caesars/Harrah's I know what to expect.

    I can't remember where I read it, but apparently a lot of people actually kill themselves in casinos. Like dozens of people a year in Vegas.

    Stardust, close to 10 years ago, my buddy and I were just coming out of the snack bar and hear Pop-Pop noise and see patrons hitting the floor. Guy was shot dead in the adjacent sports book. Shooter was calm and detained by security until metro arrived. Victim was able to run out into the parking lot but died there.
    Supposedly was the result of a bad sports tip--------------------- Sharky? (kidding!!!)
