What a joke, Crown is the crow jewel of suckers games. Wrest Point have shoe dealt Pontoon 3:2 for BJ open 1400-0400 seven days a week.

The house margin with basic strategy w/o counting is 0.38 (BJ 0.51)

Tell me about it. My Crown adventures began around 2003 when all games were shoe based, 8 deck, S17, DOA, DAS, SPL3, NRSA, OBBO. Now you have to pay $50 to get a H17 shoe game with 8 decks! I know Pontoon is always open, but what about BJ? Last time I went we go shoes after 8pm. Is that still the case?

Still the same! Do you play there? I find them way too sweaty. Like I said, by day 2 they wouldn't take my action.

Well I've only played 2 sessions for a small loss, I'll stick to pontoon maybe.

You can refuse if you wish, as I understand your trust issues, but is there any way I can email you to discuss current conditions there?

At the El Cortez the minimum bet was $5 and my spread was from $5 to $200 ($100 over 2 boxes). The count got really high in the second shoe I played but I lost just about every one of the hands that mattered. At this point I was flat betted.

No big surprise there. Waaaay too big of a spread.

What do you think would have been a reasonable spread? Not that I think it would have mattered. I would have been barred even with a spread of 1-2 in my opinion.
