This poll is public. You can see how people voted. I can change it to private or not. It's not really a dangerous question.

I was aware when I made it that it would be a public poll. Like you said it is not a dangerous question and it does not hurt anybody. If I was asking how much you made playing blackjack in 2014, I would have made it a non public poll simply because I think alot of players don't want it known how much they make.

I do think it is quite hard to tell the difference between a public poll and a non public poll. If any way can be found to make this more apparent I think that would be good. I also think alot of folks don't know how to see the individual results of a public poll. By just looking at the poll results this is not apparent. You have to actually click on the results and a new window opens up on how everyone voted.

Just two. I played in Nevada and California.

But I also played in Vancouver. So do provinces count?

I prefer not to answer public polls. OP - there's really no reason for your attempted intrusion.

    Then don't answer the poll.

I never made an attempt to hide the fact that it was a public poll. I don't see what's the big deal about asking how many different states a person played blackjack. The idea behind blackjack forums is to learn from others, and if everyone was unwilling to share anything then this forum would be worthless. There is no advantage to you or anyone else to tell anyone anything. Of course, if nothing is shared it is impossible to learn anything. I think you statement of "attempted intrusion" is kind of strong for such a harmless question.

Nine states including the state that I live in. Although some of those trips weren't specifically for blackjack, I just happened to play along the way.

I didn't, but you would know that, wouldn't you?

Read "What Stays in Vegas," by Adam Turner. VERY interesting book about information you provide, online privacy, etc. THen you'll understand why I try to provide as little personal information as possible online.

About 15 but I'll stop at the only casino in the state if it's only an half an hour detour from the road trip. I'll also add I developed an aversion to the northeast and California casinos there to cluttered in the weekends.

Thanks for your reply, but you didn't vote in the poll. You are the only one who played in nine states.
