How often is it safe to jump from table to table?

I was wondering about this. Say the count tanks on one table and you move to another table. What is a safe number of tables to switch in, say, an hour? 3? 5? 10? TIA.

I understand this is probably casino dependent but was wondering what the average is.

that's all I seem to do .. my blackjack mentor tells me not to so much , and I should listen ,,, the pointers I got were this : stay with the count even if it tanks as much as possible , sometimes we can get lucky and catch good cards too , because it looks strange after a while table hopping all night , I swear I've hopped more than 10 times in one night -, unless the dealer keeps seem to be hitting 20 and 21 the whole time during a negative count , then get out. that's the advice I got...I try to stick with it as much as I can these days ... hope that helps

It helps to do something once in a while before joining the next table rather than ump straight from one table to another repeatedly.

Mix it up. Table hop once or twice, take a restroom break, etc. It all depends on how many cards are left in the shoe. I use table hopping more when the count tanks really bad early in the shoe, late in the shoe I'm more likely to just find reasons to sit out or drop my bet way down and grind my way through the last few rounds.

How long is your usual casino visit? If only 1 hour, once or twice on average is fine but I would jump as many as necessary for a short trip.
Something I try to do in my preparation is between simulations and practice have a clear idea about how often I'll need to wong out. Then ask myself if I can make this look natural. If not, then I tweak it.
If the strategy doesn't appear natural you'll be less likely to stay with the strategy in the casino.

table hop all night if you have to, stop worrying about heat. All the energy you use stressing about how many tables you should hop in and out of, start using that energy for something more productive. Watch the pit bosses body language towards you and if he is watching your table or watching you jump around. Pay attention to every phone that rings and watch their eyes after the phone call if they look at you or give off some bad body language in your direction and also pay attention to after the fact, where does he go after the phone call, is he now watching your table? is he watching where you go? Is he asking you more questions than usual?

Act Crazy - put meaningless money on snake eyes AND dont come at the same time. Talk manically and irractically - have a crazy look in your eye but always try to make someone laugh - sometimes try to make people laugh by being inappropriate in a non sexual way . People - pit bosses from the most Sicilian-soaked Hell will let your action slide at a table even if you are wearing a t shirt that says " i AM COUNTING CARDS YOU STUPID PIT MUNCHKIN - WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?!"
Be crazy in the right kind of way and you can get away with ANYTHING.
    ANYTHING.
And if you are worried as much as it seems you are worried about what some stranger thinks of you constantly moving around a casino - you are halfway to crazy already.
So you know - dont give up

You should be vigilant to what is going on in the pit but the idea is not to have the phone call to begin with. You are right to want to avoid that. Once the phone call is made the damage is done. You are either backed off that day or on your return or you must modify your play because you pushed beyond their tolerance and have to drop back from what you once got away with. the idea is to get away with as much as you can. If you force a call you will never be able to get away with as much again at that casino and whatever casino they share info with.

I personally think it all depends on the color chip your wagering . If your jumping around a place all night betting red no worries, green to black may throw flags, wagering black only your chances of being exposed are high almost everywhere .

Depends too much on context. A little wonging out isn't going to hurt you. It may help you (less chance to observe the low end of your spread). Wong-in-wong-out is also great cover, because they don't know who you are, and they can't link your sessions together to peg you as a long-term winner. A dumb crew may not know about wonging. Even a sharp crew may not bat an eye over a plausible theory for bathroom breaks (old? medicine? woman?)

man , I see people jump in and jump out all the time , but when a dealer or such starts to say things about it ... hmmm , i dont know - i kinda already said my two cents - if u have a lot of good that places to play , but i don't , and u posted this because maybe u like a place , and want to stay , so i will say it again -stick with the low counts for a while , unless the dealer keeps hitting lots of wins in a row, that's it . I usually say something like a ploppy would and walk away ... go potty , find another table , i dont even think twice about it - its not like u are doing anything wrong or something ..... just there to keep bigjer in the green ,
