    Guess I stiffed Ceasers on there comps a few to many times!

    Well I have an even funnier one........I was going to stay and cancelled my reservation a couple weekends ago. They charged me for the room even though I have a cancellation email.........LOL Do they need the cash THAT bad?

    Yeah, make $100 today. Lose a customer that comes and brings friends with him. Cost tens of thousands by the end of the year. CET is definitely on the path to self destruction. They are determined to get rid of all their best customers.

    Two of my favorite casino coupons were:
    1. Buy one scoop of ice cream, get a second scoop free (local casino)
    2. Free piece of pie with purchase of dinner (casino half way across the country - yes, this will get me to fly back immediately!)

    Cracked me up 21forme. Yep, that mailer I have that says I can get $20 in free play is definitely going to make come clear across the country to visit. Or those reduced greens fees. I get those, too...........LOL

    But in all honesty, after I griped, Total Rewards reimbursed me for the discounted rate of the room I had booked and cancelled. Shoot, it was a weekend; I know they surely used or booked it. I guess that's part of the profit they won't be able to disburse under their new REIT idea...........LOL So maybe they are not TOTALLY heartless.......................yeah, right.

    Their policy is full refund if given 24 hours or more notice. It is pretty much an industry standard. Asking at the time of reservation is a good idea but if you pay attention they probably tell you the cancellation policy without being asked.
