Just won $225 in one sitting using rookie K.O. was it beginners luck?

Just played a six deck game through one shoe using only a 1-2 spread. I bet $10 when the count was below my key number and $20 when the count was at or above my key number. I was real nervous being that this was my first time counting in live casino play. Should i attribute this to beginners luck? cuz i am going to play more tomorrow.

If you continue playing long enough, you'll find out if you have the stomach for this game. I'm laying odds.

Nope...NOT beginner's luck. Even though you were surely playing a losing game with a 1-2 spread, you can be sure that you will continue to win 22.5 units per outing. Now where's the freaking sarcastic emoticon, Norman? Screw it....I'll just go with Saturn

Bassplayer in one setting anything can happen. You could play every hand wrong and my still come out ahead but if you did it over and over, you would wind up losing so, don't judge your results on one session. Read and learn so that in the long term you will come out ahead.

Practice hard, study hard, keep your eyes and ears open and you will learn how to do it.

Play within your bankroll, pick your games with care and learn everything you can about the game. The winning will come. It has to. It's in the cards. -- Bryce Carlson

You would need some pretty damn favorable rules and penetration to make anything spread 1-2 on a 6D

And I am laying odds on the fact that you're a keyboard warrior that doesn't know squat. You judge me after one post. Hell, I could have a PhD in advanced physics for all you know.

Well, if he manages to break even, perhaps comps will make it worthwhile. Anyone have idea what he would expect avg. betting 15?
