Could someone share with me the best way to win big money on a small free money bonus? I am not talking about online casinos but physical casinos. I have been offer a lot of small money bonuses like $10 free play that I could use on the machines. I know that the best game to play with those bonuses are video poker games.

I know that I will also have to find games that offer big payout for little money. I don't have any knowledge of those games. Is it possible to win big on those bonus? Could one launch a gambling career with free money wins?

Go play the five dollar slot and try to whack 'em. The high denomination machine the better the odds since the house needs to take less of a cut per spin than off a penny or nickel slot.

WIth your $10 in freeplay do one spin of $2 VP...maybe you'll hit an $8,000 Royal Flush....but I wouldn't count on it.

From an EV perspective, if you only get to keep your winnings, you want to increase the variance as much as possible. However, for most people's bankrolls, you don't want variance.

Also, you need to consider the tax implications of the top payout: if you get whacked for a bunch of taxes, it may not be good. Or, if it could trigger an audit or something. I'm assuming you actually pay your taxes but don't want to have to do a bunch of paperwork/do an itemized deduction instead of claiming the standard.
