I remember one of the first threads I saw on here was probably from 2013... it was interesting to me and I wanted to re-read it.
and to this day it was one of the more bizarre reads , partly because what it was , but how people reacted I thought was odd.
it was an older guy , retired... he might have been between 70-75 years old.
his reason for posting was something about an evaluation of his game ... the title might have had that in it , some way or another , I used the "search" option here but it didn't pop up so far.
Some details I'm trying to remember was :
I think he used halves / drove a decent distance to the casino maybe 45 minutes / he was retired /
I think his basic style was something like , if he lost $200 he would go home - if he won $2000 he would go home .
not sure how long he was doing this but ; he said he was UP more than $10 thousand , it could've been more like 12 - 20 thousand... but it was significant (to me)
he basically got reemed on his post for a combination of things ; if I recall, people gave him smack about using a stop-loss and especially about a "Stop-win", it blew their minds - they couldn't picture leaving for winning and because of winning.... also people didn't believe him -in general- for some reason, I remember some posts were flat out calling him out as a total liar and making up the whole story. the OP swore this was his game , and that he had no reason to lie.
that's most what I remember ... that and he used a common phrase from like "now-a-days type thing or slang" , or colloquialism or abbreviation don't remember , but something like , "my bad " or "lol" or something like that , I remember that was my only comment ... mostly because at that point I couldn't add much to any conversation because I didn't know much accept from two books.
I don't have an opinion on any of it , I just wanted to read it again ... if someone remembers and can link it , that'd be great ...thanks
