I just love all the shit ploppies say when playing blackjack. Like never split 8s, never double down on a soft 18 etc. Yesterday I heard a ploppy tell the girl next to me that when a dealer shows a 5, never double down or split. His exact words were..."when I was playing in AC, the dealer told me that when he has a 5, the player should never double and that the dealer usually wins this hand." I feel bad for all of these idiots who have no idea how to play this game

That's often the dealer's worst upcard. Just horrible advice.
